Just before lockdown the annexe was completed and while it was unused for several months it is currently being used by the NHS for immunisations.
The annexe contains a hall with a moveable partition so that the hall can be divided into 2. There is also a kitchenette and disabled toilet along with storage space.
As Covid restrictions are relaxed it will provide more space for our church activities and be a valuable resource for community use through the week. You can find our more information about booking the hall at our Hall bookings page
The project has come in on budget and has cost around £380,000. Along with reserves and the giving of the congregation amounting to £130,000 we have received £120,000 through grant applications as well as a loan from the General Trustees of up to £130,000 repayable by 2031. The intention is that pledges/giving from the congregation along with hall rental will enable us to pay off this loan as soon as possible.
It is still possible to give towards the project and you can do so by completing the Pledge Form HERE or by contacting Russel our treasurer, using the form below.
