Over the past few months work has been progressing on the annexe project and we are glad to say that it is now pretty much complete. There is some Audio Visual work that we are unable to do at the moment due to the lockdown but everything else has been finished.
The annexe contains a hall with a moveable partition so that the hall can be divided into 2. There is also a kitchenette and disabled toilet along with storage space.
Once the Covid 19 restrictions are lifted this will provide more space for our church activities and be a valuable resource for community use through the week.
More details about booking the space for groups will be available soon but in the meantime if you are interested in using it for a group or event then please get in touch with us.
The project has come in on budget and has cost around £380,000. Along with reserves and the giving of the congregation amounting to £130,000 we have received £120,000 through grant applications as well as a loan from the General Trustees of up to £130,000 repayable by 2031. The intention is that pledges/giving from the congregation along with hall rental will enable us to pay off this loan as soon as possible.
It is still possible to give towards the project and you can do so by completing the Pledge Form HERE or by contacting Russel our treasurer, using the form below.
